For the first time in three years the Australian Society for Fish Biology is meeting for a face-to-face conference! And we’re meeting on the Gold Coast in sunny Queensland – think sun, beaches, surf, and of course FISH! Most of all, this conference is about reconnecting fish, fisheries and people.

We’ll be meeting at the Crowne Plaza 6-10 November 2022 for a week of exciting research, talks, and networking events!

Don’t miss this opportunity where fish and fisheries enthusiasts, both young and old will finally reconnect for a much-needed chance to network and share their science. A wonderful occasion for students and ECRs to finally showcase their research in person, and a chance for the more seasoned fishos to share their wisdom and experience.

The sessions will run for 4 full days from Monday 7th to Thursday 10th November, with a number of pre-conference workshops (more info to follow shortly) and the Welcome Function scheduled on Sunday 6th. We hope to see you all at the conference dinner on Thursday night for some delicious local produce and of course, a showcase of your very best dance moves (better start practicing!).
