George Kailis is appointed new Chair of the Commonwealth Fisheries Association
Congratulations to SIA’s longstanding member George Kailis of M.G. Kailis who has been appointed as the new Chair of the Commonwealth Fisheries Association (CFA) following the recent AGM. George previously held the position of Secretary/Treasurer of the CFA and brings a wealth of experience to the role of Chair.
Former CEO Anthony Ciconte, who made the decision to step down after 5 years in the role, will remain on the board as one of five directors. Clayton Nelson was reappointed to the role of Deputy Chair, and Brian Jeffriess will take on the role of Secretary/Treasurer. Annie Jarrett was also reappointed as a director.
