Seafood Industry Australia (SIA) is the national peak-body representing the whole of Australia’s seafood industry with members from the wild catch, aquaculture and post-harvest sectors.
As the voice of Australian seafood, SIA provides consumers, Government and other stakeholders with confident and united representation on matters of importance to the industry. Our unity indicates a love for what we do, that we stand by our products and that our products are the best in the world.
About the role
As part of “Our Pledge”, SIA’s social licence project, we are looking for someone to help us collect the stories, data, image and information that demonstrate our commitment to looking after our environment, our people and our community.
This information will be the backbone of an evaluation system so we can measure our performance and identify opportunities for improvement. This position will require travel to amazing locations and you will be working with truly inspirational people involved in wild catch and aquaculture. You will be naturally inquisitive, analytical and enthusiastic. This role will put you at the leading edge of underpinning community trust – an area rapidly developing as the community looks more and more for the values and behaviours behind food.
