Last week, ABC reporter Charlie McKillop and IP Australia General Manager of Trademarks and Designs Paula Adamson had a conversation regarding the process of trademarking. What we learned is that all you need is an ABN, a company name and no-one to object and you can trademark just about anything. This includes trademarking one fish species as another!
